Project SeaSentinel started in November 2021 as a continuation of a high school project named USV “Czajka”, made by Igor Rusiecki and Artur Kamieniecki.
Main goal of this project is to create an Autonomous Surface Vessel capable of conducting water quality measurement operations in ports and coastal areas.
We intend to take part in
RoboBoat 2024
competition in Florida, USA. The competition is being organised by RoboNation Foundation and Office of Naval Research. It consists of pre-competition phase in which we must deliver our documentation and on-site competition phase in Sarasota, FL. On-site competition will consist of a series of tasks that our vehicle will need to complete fully autonomously.
In the previous edition of the competition, we managed to qualify for the final phase, where we finished on the 9th place, surpassing teams from universities such as MIT, US Coast Guard Academy, and AGH. We were awarded a special judges' Contingency Award for planning and team management. We believe that with the experience we have gained so far and with the
support of our sponsors, we are capable of achieving even more in the upcoming edition of the competition.
